WHITE HOT IN WELSH CAPITAL

A 122-room Hotel Indigo will open in Cardiff this summer.

The showpiece of the boutique property near the castle, will be a rooftop Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill.

He said: “Cardiff is such a vibrant city and the location is perfect. It’s going to be a big hit with both diners and drinkers.”

CRUISE HOPES FOR NAVAL CITY

PORTSMOUTH is looking for a revival in its cruise fortunes after losing out earlier this year thanks to the demise of regular visitors Voyages of Discovery and Swan Hellenic.

Saga Cruises is planning 15 visits to the city in 2018, and Cruise & Maritime Voyages plans to use the south coast port for four no-fly cruises on Astoria next year.
