HERE ARE THE 10 INSPIRATIONAL CHILDREN AT THE CENTRE OF OUR CAMPAIGN WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM YOUR DONATIONS

-

THOMAS FERRY

The 16-year-old from Southwick, Sunderland, absolutely adores football but due to his cerebral palsy he is unable to play. However Thomas, who also has a twin brother with disabilities, discovered Boccia - a sport for people with physical difficulties - and he is exceptional at it. His family are hoping for his own set of Boccia balls to help him practise at home. They come in at £223.

FLYNN RIDLEY

Three-year-old Flynn was recently diagnosed with autism and his sleepless nights and night terrors leave his single mum Kimberly exhausted. Kimberly, from Ryhope, Sunderland, is hoping for some sensory equipment for his bedroom to soothe him and help him – and his mum – get some sleep. The bubble tube bed and twinkling lights cost around £460.

JOSEPH WARREN

Joseph, from Wallsend, is part of a big family who like to have adventurous days out together. But the 10-year-old is wheelchair-bound due to his cerebral palsy and his parents and three siblings often find it hard to involve him in certain activities. A more robust wheelchair would help him enjoy the outdoors more and promote some independence. This would cost around £2,550.

FREYA CARR-WRIGHT

This six-year-old suffers from a rare syndrome which affects her hearing, sight, growth, balance and breathing. Freya, from Winlaton, loves socialising and going to school. An iPad will help her do her homework in an accessible format and also enjoy some other activities in her free time. This would cost £379.
