Lorna is set to cook at 3pm on Friday and 2pm Saturday and Sunday.

Local experts sharing their skills include Dave Coulston – Peace & Loaf, Andrew Wilkinson – Artisan, Dave Usell – Silk Room and Lorbi Lemani – Paradisco.

And it’s not all about the food either. Expert mixologist­s and sommeliers, including Neil Phillips and Charles Metcalfe, will host a full timetable of masterclas­ses on wine, whisky and champagne and cheese tastings in the Drinks Theatre each day and There’s a Beer for That will be leading craft beer and food pairings, so there’s something for every-one.

WHAT TIME IS IT RUNNING?

11am-7pm Friday and Saturday, and 11am-6pm Sunday.

DO YOU NEED A TICKET TO GET IN?

Yes. Ticket prices start at £10 for adults and £8 concession­s. If you fancy experienci­ng the festival VIP style, you can expect to pay £35-£40.

There is a way of getting a discount though. Get 2 for 1 tickets by quoting ‘SUMMER241’ at ‘enter offer code’ when getting tickets online from Ticketmast­er.

WILL PARKING BE AVAILABLE?

Yes there will be parking next to the event. Alternativ­ely your nearest Metro stations are Haymarket and West Jesmond and there is a bus stop right outside the Town Moor.
