RYTON made 116-6 when they entertaine­d Shotley Bridge in the Northumber­land and Tyneside Senior League Under-18 Division.

Tyler Cash made 48 not out when wickets were tumbling around him.

In reply, Shotley Bridge posted 66-7 with Lachlan Young-Hall taking a remarkable 4-1.

South North travelled to Lintz and racked up 189-3 from their allocated 20 overs.

It proved a brilliant day of cricket with six teams each contesting the boys’ and girls’ competitio­n.

After five rounds of games there were two undefeated teams - St Joseph’s Boys and Corbridge Middle Girls - making it a clean sweep for West Northumber­land.
