Our up-to-date forest school, complete with den building facilities, hot chocolate hut and fire pit is due to be opened in September 2017 and will give our children an outstanding opportunity to learn outdoors. We are committed to providing a gateway into learning that is inspirational for all.
A learning journey for our children is one in which we travel together with parents. We talk often and share daily, building great relationships which support and encourage our children in every aspect of school life. It is important for us to listen, share our expertise and respect the exciting yet demanding role that being a parent can be.
We have an open door policy at NPS where parents are always welcome and effective communication is considered a high priority. Through our regular parents’ meetings, social events, informal chats at the beginning or end of the day, newsletters and extended school days, we strive to make life as smooth as possible for parents in, what we know is becoming, an increasingly busy world.
NPS is a busy and successful school which never stands still. A clear vision of where we are and where we are going is as true for our children as it is for our school as a whole. Whilst acknowledging the importance of our traditions we are also determined to embrace the future wholeheartedly.
