SHE caused havoc in the Geordie Shore house but now Chantelle Connelly is showing off her bad girl image with a tattoo with a difference.

This Newcastle lass is joining in with the latest ink trend by getting a spray-on tat that washes off in days.

Chantelle was only on Geordie Shore for one-and-a-bit seasons – but she certainly made an impression.

Shortly after leaving the show she started a relationship with glamour model Jemma Lucy – but grabbed even more headlines after being convicted of punching a woman in a jealous rage over her ex on a night out in the Toon.

During her time on the show she was linked to Scotty T and Aaron Chalmers, even going as far as getting Aaron’s name tattooed on her wrist.

But now Chantelle is joining the craze sweeping the North East and has teamed up with Vicky McAdam who has brought the temporary tattoo craze over from America.

The Chronicle told how Geordie lads and lasses are queueing up to get their designer spray-on inks for the weekend – but wash off before they return to work on Monday.

And, as more and more trendsetters were desperate to get airbrushed, their offspring were asking mum and dad if they could become carbon copies of their parents.

Then daredevil pensioners ironed out their skin to get temp tats to show they’re not too old to have fun.

And now Vicky is starting to work on the famous as she builds up her portfolio.

“I think they are absolutely amazing,” said Chantelle, 27, “How cool are they? I love the fact you can

just get them done and just take them off whenever. No regrets then.

“I definitely think they will be popular, especially if you had themed parties, for instance rock chick. This would be a great idea to get the people around and to get sprayed up.

“I am definitely going to do this, I love it. And how I can compare it with real tattoos – I’ve got a few tattoos I completely regret, where these you just get in the shower and they wipe off in a couple of days and then you can get something else.”

Vicky started out about 10 years ago with painting children’s faces. She progressed in to body paint for adults for promotional work but has now gone one step further and is perfecting a different form of tattoo art. The tattoos are created by using stencils and Vicky builds on each one to make a sleeve. However, she also does single spray on tattoos if required. They last up to five days, depending on how well you look after them.

Mum-of-two Vicky, 48, of High Heworth, Gateshead, said: “It’s really taken off, I’m so busy now. I thought it would be a good idea to get some famous people to get a temporary tattoo, so I started to get in touch with agents for Ant and Dec, Katie Price, the Geordie Shore lot and even Geordie Shore boss Anna, asking if I could go into the house and spray the gang before they went out on a night out.

“Chantelle was the one that got back to me and so I decided to give her a neck and shoulder tattoo. She’s already got tattoos of her own so this just compliments the ones she’s got.”

Vicky got to work on Chantelle at Doc Black Ink at Gateshead MetroCentre and also demonstrated how kids love copying their parents and getting temporary tats of their own. And Hugo Casey, five, of Sunderland, and Bobby Fenley, seven, of Gateshead, even helped with Chantelle’s masterpiece.

Vicky charges £30 a sleeve. She can go to people’s homes and charges £100 an hour or £120 for two hours if there is a party of four or more.

The craze has become so popular that she is holding weekend events.
