PREMIER Division champions Blue Star recorded a 15-1 win over newlypromo­ted Crawcrook Albion.

Mark Doninger top-scored with six goals and Connor Halpin also nabbed a treble.

Ricky Fenwick struck twice with the other goals from Liam Allison, Robert Houghton, Daniel Henderson and Stephen Mulholland, Rhys Harbottle with Albion’s consolatio­n strike.

Fiddlers Three were 8-0 winners over Winlaton West End.

Paul Donnelly hit a hat-trick and Gordon Hutchinson and Liam Barnett both scored twice, the other coming from Dean Kirtley.

Birtley RAOB ran out 3-1 winners at home to Westwood.

Alex Turnbull, Marc Briggs and Adam Berry were on target for Birtley, Jack Docherty for the visitors.

It was one point each for Highwayman and Whickham Coachman following their 3-3 draw.

Gary Archbold, Adam Hadfield and Billy Keaning were on the mark for Highwayman.

Lewis Johnson, Alex White and a late Andrew Davidson counter grabbed a point for the Coachies.

In Division One, Teams Club ran out 10-1 winners at new club Inter XI, Wesley Avles with a hat-trick for Teams and Louis Tiplady and Charlie Watson netting twice.

Also scoring were Liam Gent, Leon Watson and Connor Lane, Mohammed Elhassan for Inter.

Also winning 10-1 were Nursery House at Clara Vale.

Luke Holliday hit four goals with David Reay and Dan Birkbeck both bagging braces.

Strikes from Lee Moody and David Boyle made up the total, Lee Masterman with a consolatio­n finish for Clara Vale.

Thomas Wilson started their season with an 8-0 demolition of Leam Lane Rangers.

Alan Mulholland and Nathan Bailey both hit trebles, Liam Fraser and Mark Heron also registerin­g.

Saltwell SC triumphed 6-1 against Pelaw Grange Dogs.

Aaron McEwan grabbed three alongside strikes from Colby Moffatt, Riccardo Tanoh and Hassen Colley.

Ryan Lancaster replied for The Dogs, who had their goalkeeper dismissed with the score 2-0.

The Eagle also triumphed 6-1, this time against Rutherford.

David Fleming and Kane Wheatley both struck for The Eagle, but their real hero was Mark Burns who notched four times. Dan McAvoy netted for Rutherford.

Gateshead Three Tuns and Whickham Bay Horse drew 1-1.

Marc Udale was the marksman for Bay Horse, while 17-year-old Jack Charleswor­th scored on his debut for The Tuns.
