DURHAM’S Brancepeth Castle Golf Club has received a national award from England Golf.

The club has been awarded the prestigiou­s GolfMark for its work in driving the growth of the game.

GolfMark will bring a number of benefits to the club - including access to funding, business and marketing support and training opportunit­ies for staff and volunteers. ■■MORTIMER Karate Club in South Shields is looking for new members.
