Steven Alice Lee: “In China they actually have high speed trains that run on time, build five new subway lines in five years in a city around the size of London and are talking about testing trains with a theoretical max speed of 4000kmph (yes 4000), meanwhile in the north we have to shut down a major section of the metro for months to fix it up, and we don’t even get trolley service on Virgin trains anymore.”
