WHO OFFERS A LONG HAUL BARGAIN?
JAPAN’S capital Tokyo has eclipsed all its competitors to emerge as the cheapest of 30 resorts and cities surveyed for the 10th annual Long Haul Holiday Report by Post Office Travel Money.
Based on prices researched by long haul tailor-made holiday specialist Travelbag and crossreferenced with those provided by tourist offices, a ‘basket’ of 10 tourist items, including meals and drinks, costs just £48.90 in Tokyo, making it 24% cheaper than runner-up Cape Town (£64.50).
FIRM PLEDGES BEST DISNEY BUNDLES
TAILOR-MADE hotel, ticket and dining packages to Walt Disney World in Orlando are now on sale with Attraction Tickets Direct.
And the firm is pledging it will be the cheapest place in the UK to buy a Disney bundle – including the Free Dining Plan – and also offering peace of mind with financial bonding from travel association ABTA.
Holidaymakers can personalise their trips from 27 accommodation options. They can add on tickets, meals, early park admission, airport transfers and more, with a special launch offer of up to £100 discount per booking right through to the end of next year (attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk).
PRICE FREEZE FOR SKI HOLIDAYS
BALKAN Holidays is pegging prices at the same lead-in of £244 per person for the third year in a row in its new 2018 main Ski/Snowboard brochure to Bulgaria, Slovenia and Romania.
Many other deals are the same as last year and new offerings include long weekends to Slovenia, new hotels, BOGOF lift passes, free wi-fi and discounts of up to £106 per person for January departures to Bulgaria (balkanholidays.co.uk).
