FASHION’S NEW GENERATION

-

GOD bless Fashion Week rolling into London town and creating a visual feast for us to consume.

Celebrities please step forward, it’s time to be seen, to attend parties, be sponsored, get endorsing and act like the perfect brand ambassador.

This season there was a new generation taking over the front row, but they are no ordinary teenagers, they are the SGFO (second generation famous offspring).

Yes, the children of celebrities have come of age and they are everywhere, from the catwalk (Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber walked at Burberry), to the front row (Kate Moss’ daughter Lila Grace) and at parties (Lennon Gallagher, son of Oasis front man Liam Gallagher made his fashion week debut at one of the many events).

And it doesn’t stop there.

Iris Law (daughter of Jude Law) was out and about too.

Move over Millennials, Generation Z is taking over Planet Fashion.

Elsewhere, celebrities that don’t make me feel like a fossil were out supporting their favourite designers – Burberry, Topshop and Versace, among them – but try not to be dazzled by the usual suspects and their starry “frows”.

Michael Halpern’s sequin adorned collection was one to watch, expect to hear his name popping up everywhere, while Eudon Choi earned his catwalk slot with stylish tailored layering. If you want to see why they call London Fashion Week edgy, check out Pam Hogg and Shrimps, a riot of pink and frou frou. It can’t all be wearable. This is fashion remember!
