BRADLEY Lowery’s mum has opened up about life without her little boy in a moving Facebook post.

Sharing photos of the cheeky youngster smiling and giving a big thumbs up, mum Gemma Lowery said she dreams about Bradley every night.

The brave Sunderland AFC superfan lost his neuroblastoma cancer battle on July 7 when he was just six years old.

Since his tragic death, the Bradley Lowery Foundation has been registered as a charity and will continue to raise awareness of childhood cancers and help other families going through difficult times with poorly children.

Gemma said: “People ask me how I’m doing and my reply is always the same, I’m taking each day as it comes I have good and bad days.

“I keep myself very busy with the charity so I don’t have time to think about the pain I feel.

“I dream about him every night, I talk to him every day but nothing will bring back the physical connection I had with him.

“The cuddles, the kisses, his voice telling me he loves me, and his little giggles when he was being a tinker.

“My home is too quiet, my heart has a big hole in it that will never be filled. However, I get up each day and I carry on because I want to help other children.

“I want to support other families. Helping others helps my grief, it helps me to look to the future.”

Little Bradley captured the hearts of the nation after his terminal cancer diagnosis in December 2016.

With his infectious smile, the brave Blackhall Colliery schoolboy battled the cruel disease to make magnificent memories and become an inspiring figure in the footballing world. He was mascot for his beloved Sunderland AFC and for England, and struck up a close friendship with Jermain Defoe.

Despite his illness, Bradley, mum Gemma, dad Carl and older brother Kieran enjoyed magical trips to Disneyland and the Harry Potter studios, sharing snaps on social media with the hundreds and thousands of people around the globe who followed his journey.

Gemma said: “Bradley did so much for childhood cancer and raised awareness. His smile was known world wide – it could brighten anyone’s day and I made a promise to my baby I will continue the good work he started.

“If you’re having a bad day remember things can be worse. Smile.”
