PIERS MORGAN’S LIFE STORIES ITV, 9pm

SEX And The City actress Kim Cattrall, 61, opens up about rumoured feuds and why she declined a reunion for a third SATC movie outing.

Kim describes her extraordinary life, moving from Liverpool to Canada and then New York as a teenager, from her first ever film, to her success as Samantha Jones in the hugely popular HBO series.

Kim went on to star in two Sex And The City movies, but ruffled feathers when she refused a third.

“To get any kind of negative press, this is where I take to task the people from Sex And The City – and specifially Sarah Jessica Parker. She could have been nicer,” says Kim.

In a revealing chat, Kim also talks about her three marriages and how she was forced to pull out of a West End play due to crippling insomnia.

THE WALKING DEAD FOX, 9pm

CROSSBOWS at the ready. Fans have been clamouring for this eighth season and producers have been releasing trailers to tease us. One showed Rick as an old man.

Asked about the twist, actor Andrew Lincoln, pictured, said: “It will become somewhat clearer after the October premiere. Then again, it may not be. It maybe still is somewhat opaque.” Ok great, that cleared that up then.

ASHES TO ASHES DRAMA, 8pm

THIS is the very first episode of the Life on Mars sequel, following the exploits of Detective Gene Hunt (Philip Glenister). If you’ve never seen either series, it’s like a police procedural show that’s gone a bit Doctor Who.

In 2008, DI Alex Drake (Keeley Hawes, pictured with Glenister) is shot and regains consciousness in 1981. There she enlists Hunt’s help to catch her shooter and hopefully return to the present.
