Don’t blame them for this mess

P BENNISON asks whether an 18-year-old understands the meaning of “sovereignty”?

I know numerous young people who do. He also accuses them of the attitude of “what’s in it for me?”

If they do have that attitude they will have copied it from the rich elite who think of nothing else and this includes most of the Tory party who find paying taxes a great problem and invariably manage to avoid such inconveniences.

He also says the Labour Party has no interest in the welfare of this country.

Which party has sold off all its assets such as steel, gas, electricity, water and numerous other industries (eg car, motorcycle, & shipping)? Even Poundland has been sold off to a foreigner.

Also our police force, firemen, social workers, NHS, schools and military forces are all being run down.

What will be left for the Labour Party to get an interest in? The German and French pensioners are rubbing their hands at all the money they collect from this country to provide for their pensions.

I too voted to leave Europe for the same reason as Mr Bennison but please do not blame Labour for the mess being made both over the negotiations for Brexit and the interest in the welfare of this country which Labour bases it on caring for the many not the greedy few.
