Ponteland United PSG go from strength to strength with a 5-0 win that continues their unbeaten league run

MANY of the teams were in NFA Cup action this weekend.

In the only Premiershi­p game Ponteland United PSG continued their unbeaten run, moving into third with a 5-0 win over Cullercoat­s FC Blacks.

In Division 1 leaders Morpeth Town Real were held 0-0 at home by Blyth Town, Team Gosforth Feyenoord moved into second with a 5-0 home win over Newbiggin Hall.

In Division 3 Newcastle East End Yellows were 5-3 winners over Morpeth Town Panthers, Redheugh Boys overcame Willington Quay 5-1 and Cramlingto­n Town Yellows and Ellington shared the points in a 1-1 draw.

UNDER 17 PREMIERSHI­P

Cramlingto­n Juniors are still in front despite being held at home 2-2 by Ponteland United Panthers.

Newcastle East End are second after a 2-1 win over Red House Farm Kites, Newcastle Benfield’s 5-0 win at Stakeford which included a brace from Nik Toma, keeps them in third and Hexham beat North Shields by the only goal of the game.

U17 DIVISION 1

Leaders Burradon were held at home by Cramlingto­n Town Yellows in a good competitiv­e encounter.

Burradon were on top in the first half going in 2-0 to the good.

A second half fightback from Cramlingto­n Town saw them share the points in a 2-2 draw.

Second placed Whitley Bay FC Barca won at home against Wideopen.
