Obama, Trump and Bush as well

-

IN answer to your correspondent Cyril Stokes.

Your antipathy for President Obama may be well felt but your reasons are entirely wrong.

Obama inherited a huge deficit from Bush which he went a long way to reducing despite being blocked by both the Republican Senate and the House.

He introduced Medicare for all US citizens many of whom could never afford any kind of care, much to the chagrin of the insurance companies and their Republican friends.

The present incumbent has endeavoured to reverse every single decent programme introduced by Obama.

The worst of all is the increase in tax breaks for all the richest including himself, to the detriment of the poor.

Obama’s every move was to alleviate the poverty of millions of US citizens.

Trump’s main purpose is to make a profit from his Presidency.

He has almost bankrupted the CIA, charging them for food and accommodation when they are guarding him at his own golfing resorts. PLEASE can anyone give me any news of a lady called Andrea-Alexandre, lived at Jesmond, 1947. Also at farm rear of RAF Ouston where I met her. Have tried for ages to find her without luck. Said she was French-Canadian. Please,

He has already spent more on safeguarding himself and his family than Obama spent in his eight years.

His rejection of climate change proposals in spite of overwhelming evidence will impact on us all and his foreign policies are more likely to end in world conflict than at any time since WW2.

Prince Harry recognised a gentleman when he saw one!
