FOREST Hall YPC moved to the top of the table with a 3-0 win over Wideopen and District A.

Jack Fishburn, Korey O’Neill and Stephen Thompson netted as they took advantage of their rivals at the top being involved in cup matches.

Newcastle Chemfica Amateurs beat Killingwor­th YPC Cobras 4-2.

Jamie Anderson hit a hat-trick and James Nowosielsk­i completed their tally, Curtis Dawson and Ross Fairley scoring for Killingwor­th. Gosforth Bohemian Reserves moved into the last four of the Neville Cowey Cup with a 2-0 success over the Newcastle Medicals.

Jon-Paul Bradley and David Hodgson were the goalscorer­s for Bohs.

In the Tyneside Amateur Challenge Shield quarter-finals, Ellington ended Morpeth Town Seniors’ hopes of defending the trophy with a 6-1 verdict.
