BOND, JAMES BOND

THE attention may be focused on 007’s next big screen outing, but fans can get their Bond hit elsewhere this month.

The Body is the latest James Bond comic series from publishers Dynamite, which acquired the rights to the character back in 2015.

This new six-issue mini series sees the secret agent relating the story of his mission to a medical examiner, who is putting him back together.

From writer Ales Kot (Secret Avengers, Zero), with art by Luca Casalanguida, keep an eye out for some gorgeous cover variants. Out now priced at £3.35.

FIERCE FUNKOS

THERE’S an absolutely fabulous treat in store for fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race – a new line of Funko Pops.

The vinyl toy giant has announced a line of fierce looking drag pops – with the first queens to be immortalised in miniature being fan faves Alaska, Trixie Mattel and mother herself, RuPaul.

These dragulous funkos arrive later this month, and will add fierceness to any collection.

LIVE, DIE, REPEAT?

EDGE of Tomorrow proved to be somewhat of a sleeper hit, seeing Tom Cruise relive the same day over and over like a sci-fi groundhog.

A sequel was looking in doubt until director Doug Liman dropped a huge hint that Edge of Tomorrow 2 could be his next project.

Talking to Collider Linman said: “It’s down to having a window where we could go do it, and we’re frantically working on the script. It’s one of those movies that we’ll only go make if we love the script. It’s not one of those things where the studio is pushing us to make it and they don’t really care if it’s good or not.”

As much as I loved the film, quite how a sequel would work is beyond me.
