PIERS MORGAN’S LIFE STORIES

Tonight, ITV, 9.50pm HOLLYWOOD actress Pamela Anderson opens up about her life in the media to Piers, but not before talking about her childhood. She discusses her upbringing in Canada, and goes on to her subsequent career by way of her notoriety as a Playboy Playmate and her first Playboy cover shoot.

Her relationsh­ips are also under the spotlight, including her marriage to rock star Tommy Lee. Piers brings up the subject of their sex tape – well, it would be remiss not to.

STRIKE – CAREER OF EVIL

Tomorrow, BBC1, 9pm PART two of two. Strike goes in search of a murder suspect in several London strip clubs, but a furious Wardle warns him not to interfere in police business.

Robin considers whether she wants to go through with getting married, then comes to Matthew’s aid when the killer sends him a severed thumb.

Recklessly, Robin turns to Shanker for help, urging him to take her to a suspect’s home.

MARCELLA

Monday, ITV, 9pm JASON arrives at Marcella’s and delivers some news that sends her into a fugue, but she comes back round to discover he is badly injured and recognises that she has to deal with the blackouts once and for all.

As Rav and Marcella discuss how the evidence of their case doesn’t point to the work of a paedophile killer, a grief-stricken and vengeful Phil Dawkins follows Edward as he heads to school, while Gail notices Joel is trying to communicat­e by tapping his finger.

WILD BRITAIN

Tuesday, Channel 5, 9pm A NEW series sets out to explore the hidden world of British wildlife, using low-light cameras to capture some of their rarely seen nocturnal behaviour. In the first episode, we get a bird’s eye view of the golden eagle as it hunts its prey in the snowy Cairngorms, as well as an insight into the mating rituals of Scotland’s 400,000 red deer. There’s also a closer look at a bold project to re-tree the Scottish uplands and recreate the wildlife-rich habitat of the ancient Caledonian Forest.

EARTH’S NATURAL WONDERS

THE documentar­y exploring some of the most Wednesday, BBC1, 9pm

inhospitab­le places on the planet concludes by shedding light on the lives of the Kamayura People, who reside in Brazil’s Xingu Indigenous Park.

For the Kamayura, pleasing the spirits is crucial to maintainin­g good health, and during one key festival, a warrior must dance for hours to appease a bird spirit, sustained only by food and drink brought to him by villagers.

In Ethiopia, belief drives the residents of the Tigray region to climb a 400m mountain to reach their church. In Switzerlan­d, the Zermatt air rescue team offers an insight into why millions of hikers, climbers and skiers visit the Swiss Alps every year, despite the risk of injury – or even death.

CRUFTS 2018

Thursday, Channel 4, 8pm THE world’s biggest canine competitio­n got under way today – Clare Balding and Alan Carr kicked off the Channel 4 coverage this afternoon on Crufts Extra.

Now Clare is back with continued live coverage, where judging includes the Working and Pastoral groups, and there are highlights of the Flyball and Agility competitio­ns, with the latter celebratin­g its 40th year at the contest.

THE GADGET SHOW

Friday, Channel 5, 7pm NEW series. Ortis Deley and Georgie Barrat travel to Nevada to visit the world’s biggest consumer electronic­s show in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, Jon Bentley joins Craig Charles in a ‘versus’ challenge to see if cutting-edge tech can put them on a par with profession­al decorators.

Jon and Craig have access to the finest aids that tech has to offer, while the profession­als have to rely on experience, skill and traditiona­l tools.
