Vipers sting Ellington while City slickers hit Monkseaton for six

PIN POINT JUNIOR LEAGUE U-15 AND U-16 DIVISIONS

BEDLINGTON Vipers enjoyed a 2-0 victory over Ellington in the Under-15 Premiership.

Newcastle City prevailed 6-0 against Monkseaton while Newcastle City Milan also hit six against Montagu and North Fenham Blues – this time with one in reply.

Wallsend BC Greens and South Shields Santos drew 2-2 but Whitley Bay SC Blues edged out Newcastle East End Blues 3-2.

In Division One, Alnwick Town Blacks saw off North Shields 5-2.

Cramlington Reds proved too strong for Prudhoe YC Blues In the Premiership Cup, going through 7-2.

In the League Trophy, Cramlington Leopards ended Alnwick Town Whites’ hopes with a 2-1 success while Newcastle East End Reds put nine past Cramlington United Tigers with just one in reply. ■■REDHEUGH Boys were 5-0 victors against Bedlington Blacks in the Under-16 League Challenge Trophy.

Seaton Delaval Dynamos and Haydon Bridge also progressed with wins over Bedlington Blacks and Red House Farm Kites respectively. Ashington CFC Colliers needed extra time to overcome Newcastle Westgate 5-2 in the Challenge Shield but Team Gosforth Feyenoord claimed a 2-0 victory over Ellington.

Wideopen Wanderers and Alnwick Town ended 1-1 after extra time – Wanderers going through 5-4 on penalties.

In Division One, Cramlington Town Whites defeated Bedlington Lightning 2-0.
