TYNEDALE suffered a third consecutive league defeat, losing 4-1 at third bottom York City.
The league strugglers saw Lucy Lendhill bag a brace, Anna Whitehead and Lindsay Jordan also on target.
Megan Watson scored a consolation goal for Tynedale, who stay in fifth place.
Title chasers Norton and Stockton Ancients triumphed 9-1 at Castleford.
Anna Mawston broke the deadlock after 15 minutes and five minutes later the prolific Nyci Thorns headed home a corner.
Thorns then converted a penalty she won after 30 minutes, which was added to when Shannon Reed netted twice before the break.
Castleford claimed their consolation effort ten minutes after the restart before Mawston found the net with 20 minutes remaining.
Thorns completed her hat-trick two minutes later and pounced on a goalkeeper error to score her fourth goal.
There was also a hat-trick for Reed, grabbing her third at the death to complete the rout.
Norton, still with their 100% record intact, trail the leaders Durham Cestria by 12 points but have five games in hand.
The first of the back-to-back matches involving the league leaders comes against Norton on Sunday, the Teesside club playing hosts.
