CARRY ON CRUISING

A RECORD high of almost two million Brits enjoyed a cruise holiday last year according to Cruise Lines International Association’s annual report.

The Mediterranean continues to be the most popular destination for British cruisers despite a small year-on-year decline.

The number of cruises to northern Europe soared in 2017, beating the Caribbean, with a rise of 8% which made it the second most popular region.

The third most popular destination, the Caribbean (including the Bahamas and Bermuda), showed an increase of just over 3% against last year.
