EVERYTHING is spiralling downhill for Liv, who has been ditching school in favour of a bottle of vodka.

Aaron quizzes her about why she’s not in school, and she does her best to cover up her hangover. But later on, drunk, she drops her bottle of booze and cuts her hand – a little more tricky to hide.

Meanwhile, keen to impress Jessie, Marlon agrees to look after the school gerbil, Arnold. But let’s just say it doesn’t exactly go to plan.

EASTENDERS BBC1, 7.30pm & 9pm

THERE was a doof doof and a half on Tuesday when Jean announced that Kat can’t be dead – she had just spoken to her.

Now Stacey grills Jean about what she means, but Mo quickly jumps in to undermine Jean before asking Jean about money towards the funeral. Onwards with the fundraiser then, and then the party at The Vic becomes more raucous as the residents celebrate Kat. But keep your eyes peeled – everything is not as it seems.

CORONATION STREET ITV, 8.30pm

HE’S been to hell and back, and now David decides he must get out of Weatherfie­ld.

Listening intently as Martin talks about his plans to move to New Zealand, David is given food for thought. “Something’s definitely not right, are you ill?” quizzes Martin. But will David admit the truth? Meanwhile, after Tyrone smacked Ruby he’s desperate to make amends, but she won’t be won over easily. She says she hates him and refuses to go anywhere near him.
