If Trump fails to silence porn star, her revelations could do more damage to the US leader than any of his political boobs

AS THE probe into Russian election interference and Donald Trump and his crooked cronies continues, out of the smoke has come a real-life heroine.
While special counsel Robert Mueller’s team is reported to be looking at whether the Teflon Don interfered with justice over his firing of former FBI director James Comey, justice may be coming from the unlikeliest of sources – a porn star.
The alleged affair between Stormy Daniels and the classless president has seen him out-Trumped at every turn.
She is as shameless as him and a publicity hound who is as comfortable in the limelight as the demagogue himself.
Daniels claims she and Trump had an affair beginning in 2006 – months after the President’s wife gave birth to their son, Barron. His lawyer and the White House claim the allegations are not true.
But despite the denials, it has since been revealed the President’s attorney, Michael Cohen, paid Daniels £95,000 – which she says was to buy her silence weeks before the 2016 election.
Now, after claims Trump failed to sign the nondisclosure greement, she is suing the President saying the deal should be null and void and therefore she is free to discuss her relationship with whoever she chooses.
It just so happens she has chosen to tell her story to the CBS show 60 Minutes this Sunday leading to Trump’s lawyers working around the clock to shut it down.
Daniels has claimed the President, with the assistance of Cohen, “aggressively sought” to silence her as part of an effort to help ensure he won the election.
The effort, she alleges, continues today, with the President’s attorneys going to secret arbitration to obtain a temporary restraining order against her.
It is as tawdry a spectacle as the 150 or so porn flicks Daniels has to her name. But the bigger issue here is what it reveals about the man in the Oval Office.
In Barack and Michelle Obama, America had the marital role models the White House demands.
Between their devotion to their family and children, their respect and support for each other, as well as their conduct, they were the poster couple for marriage.
Trump’s behaviour, which includes sexual misconduct accusations by more than 22 women as well as other affairs, is the stuff of its own Jerry Springer show.
His marriage appears as weak as his leadership. For a man who demands adoration, the President would no doubt love his wife to gaze upon him the way Nancy Reagan gazed upon her Ronnie. But Ronnie didn’t cheat on Nancy with porn stars and Playmates, or brag about sexually assaulting women. When Trump boasted about grabbing women by the p **** , he followed it up by saying “You can do anything”, which when it comes to the commander-in-cheat, he may just be right.
But while bullying and buying-off people to keep your secrets may have been the norm for Trump in the business world, it has no place in the Oval Office.
Federal election authorities should investigate the matter while Daniels should be able to tell her story, and let the world judge for themselves what these events say about the character of the President.
What is certain though, is that she has more guts than any of the cowards, traitors and fools, linked to Trump.
If Mueller doesn’t bring Trump to his knees it could be Daniels who does – a position she claims to have seen him in before.
