A CHANCE to fly to Germany on a dream break - while helping charities too - is on offer as a new community six-a-side football league prepares for kickoff on Tyneside.

The league – run by Leisure Leagues, Europe’s largest provider of small-sided football starts on June 6 at Prudhoe Community College and will feature games every Wednesday.

They cost £30 and will be played between 7.00 and 9.00.

Teams signing up will be entered into the Leisure Leagues’ monthly star prize draw, which will be made at the end of the season.

The prize is an an all-expensespaid trip for the whole team to a Bundesliga match.

Leisure Leagues is the only football provider which donates the profits from the league to charities – with Cancer Research UK and The Dogs Trust among the recent beneficiaries.

Leisure Leagues’ Business Manager Sam Jones said: “We have been running leagues for 30 years and we are really looking forward to bringing our unique brand of football to Prudhoe.”
