-

WHICKHAM Bay Horse remained top of the Premier Division thanks to a fine 2-1 win at Teams Club last midweek.

Michael Robson and Alex Gasgoine struck for Horse while Conner McMillan registered for Teams.

Thomas Wilson are still in second but suffered a blip when they drew 1-1 with Nursery House.

Sam Fraser was on target for The Wilson, Craig Bates replying for Nursery.

Saltwell SC kept up the pressure on the top two with a 3-0 victory at Gateshead Three Tuns.

Aaron McEwan, Riccardo Tanoh and Zadjo Kendjo netted for the visitors.

First-half goals from James McRoy, Michael Mains and Joe Hunter gave Leam Lane Rangers a convincing half-time lead at The Eagle.

Late in the game the hosts nabbed a consolation through David Simpson to make the final score 3-1 to Rangers.

Pelaw Grange Dogs were comfortable 6-1 winners at Rutherford.

Bri Allen claimed four goals and those were added to by strikes from Sean Crow and David Jeffers.

Rutherford’s solitary counter came from Adam Sinclair.

On Thursday in The Premier Division, Belle Vue were 3-0 winners at Fiddlers Three.

Two finishes from Dylan Howourth and one from John Dewhurst mean Belle Vue only need one win from their remaining three games to be crowned champions.

That is because their nearest challengers Whickham Coachman lost 1-0 at home to third-placed Blue Star - Liam Allison the player on the mark.

Birtley RAOB were 5-1 victors against Winlaton West End.

Logan Powell and Adam Berry both struck twice, the other coming from Marc Briggs. Connor Brierley registered for West End.

On Sunday, Belle Vue prevailed 4-2 at Blue Star to secure their place in the final of the Premier Division Cup.

Dylan Howourth bagged a brace for Belle Vue alongside strikes from Micky Hutchinson and Bobby McCrudden.

Blue Star’s replies came from Mark Pattison and Liam Allison.

Belle Vue’s opponents in the final will be Fiddlers Three following their extra-time verdict over Stormont Main.

Ollie Leedham netted twice for Fiddlers - including the extra-time winner. Sean Pitt registered for Main in their 2-1 defeat.

In Division One, Thomas Wilson took a huge step towards the title with a 3-0 success at their closest rivals Whickham Bay Horse.

Jordan Fraser, Alan Mulholland and Neil Davison all scored for the Wilson.

Pelaw Grange Dogs hammered a depleted Rutherford side 12-1.

Jordan Stevens celebrated five of the tally, David Jeffers also bagging a brace.

Also on target for the Dogs were Bri Allen, Daniel Hay, Gary Watson, Connor Grieveson and David Donnelly.

Grabbing Rutherford’s consolation was Shaun White.

Teams Club were 3-1 winners over Clara Vale thanks to a Charlie Watson hat-trick. Allerdene and Saltwell SC played out a 2-2 draw.
