Boot loot delight
LUCKY shopper Jaye Dixon has scooped £250 in a promotion called Loot in the Boot.
Jaye, 19, from Seaham, is £250 better off, thanks to a promotion organised by Jennings Motor Group and local radio station Sun FM.
Jaye was one of hundreds of listeners and shoppers who paid a visit to the Bridges shopping centre in Sunderland, where Jennings Kia and Mazda were not only promoting their products and services, but were also running a Loot in the Boot competition, in conjunction with 103.4 Sun FM. The aim of the game was to guess how much cash was in the boot.
Guessing the correct amount resulted in Jaye being presented with a £250 cheque from general sales manager James Chorlton at the Sunderland-based dealership, where she also got to meet the team of staff and see the various Kia and Mazda models on display in the brand-new showroom.
Jaye said: “I couldn’t believe it when I got the phone call to say I had won.
“You never think it is going to be you who is going to win but I did!
“I haven’t decided what to spend the cash on just yet because it’s all still sinking in.”
Jennings Kia and Mazda officially opened for business in September last year. Part of an ongoing programme of development and customer care, the new dealership further complements the group’s existing Kia dealerships in Washington and Stockton, and the Mazda branch in Middlesbrough.
