HARRY HILL’S ALIEN FUN CAPSULE Tonight, ITV, 7.30pm

IF EVER aliens were to invade Earth, chances are we wouldn’t be turning to Harry Hill for help.

Neverthele­ss, he continues his efforts to find a way to stop extra-terrestria­ls in their tracks with his madcap game show.

Joining in the fun here are comedian Johnny Vegas, former pop star Jimmy Osmond and actors Sue Johnston and Samantha Giles. But will any of them find anything that Harry deems will impress any passing aliens and are therefore worthy of a place in his famed capsule?

INVITATION TO A ROYAL WEDDING Tomorrow, ITV, 9pm

SINCE their engagement in November, the wedding of Prince Harry to American actress Meghan Markle has sent the world’s media into a frenzy.

In this one-off documentar­y, Trevor McDonald and Julie Etchingham delve into the planning of a royal wedding by interviewi­ng those working behind the scenes on the highly anticipate­d event at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, on May 19.

ELTON JOHN: I’M STILL STANDING, A GRAMMY SALUTE Monday, ITV, 10.45pm

IN JANUARY, Sir Elton John announced he was planning an epic farewell tour before quitting the road after 50 years of performing. This tribute to his long and hugely successful career was held at Madison Square Garden in New York shortly after the 2018 Grammys.

Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Kesha, Sam Smith and Shawn Mendes are among those who performed on the night, offering versions of some of Sir Elton’s bestloved songs.

The man himself was in attendance, watching with husband David Furnish, before taking to the stage to show the youngsters how it’s done.

MISSING FLIGHT MH370: INSIDE THE SITUATION ROOM Tuesday, Channel 5, 10pm

SENIOR officials on the front line – including the Malaysian prime minister, defence minister, and the head of Malaysia Airlines – reveal what happened behind closed doors in the situation room as the disaster of the Malaysia Airlines aeroplane unfolded, following its reported disappeara­nce on March 8, 2014. None of them have hitherto given their personal accounts of the challenges faced and

their emotional responses to the unfolding crisis.

THE SECRET LIFE OF THE ZOO Wednesday, Channel 4, 8pm

PREGNANT giraffe Orla goes into labour, but the keepers must watch from the sidelines due to the risks involved during the birth. Elsewhere, northern bald ibis chick Professor X is proving too confident for his own good, and when it is time to release him into the adult habitat he gets into troubled waters and suffers a nasty head injury, so the vets have to work hard to help him pull through.

PRINCE HARRY’S STORY: FOUR ROYAL WEDDINGS Thursday, ITV, 9pm

THOSE of us over a certain age have watched Prince Henry Charles Albert David, aka Prince Harry, grow up. As a child he always seemed much cheekier than his elder brother William and in his teens and early adulthood he courted controvers­y via various pranks and ill-advised activities.

However, his spell in the army seems to have done him good, and he is now one of the most popular members of the royal family. Ahead of his marriage to Meghan Markle, this documentar­y charts Harry’s journey through important turning points in his life – including four other royal weddings and the death of his mother, Diana.

THE comedy series starring Stephen Mangan, Tamsin Greig and Matt LeBlanc continues. Sean and Beverly find themselves in a dispute with Matt when he demands a writing credit on a new show. Neither side is willing to give in and the duo are insistent they came up with the premise – even though he supplied the pads and pens.
