DIVISION One leaders Thomas Wilson were held to a 1-1 draw by Teams Club last midweek.

Luke Gilhespy was on target for The Wilson, Wes Maddock replying for Teams.

Two goals each from Bri Allen and Jordan Stevens enabled Pelaw Grange Dogs to win 4-0 at second-placed Whickham Bay Horse.

Saltwell SC were 6-0 victors against Clara Vale.

Aaron McEwan and Zadjo Kendjo both bagged braces, the others from Connor McTeer and Luke Steel.

Belle Vue wrapped up the Premier Division title with a 4-3 success at Leam Lane WMC.

The Vue raced into a three-goal lead with strikes from Alex Francis, Levi Oman and John Dewhurst before Joe Mole and Peter Mulholland pulled two back for Leam before half-time.

Belle Vue then increased their advantage just after the break through Bobby McCrudden.

Connor Halpin scored for Leam to set up a tense finale but the visitors held on to take the points and the title with two games to spare.

Stormont Main beat Highwayman 4-1 thanks to counters from Sean Pitt, Dean McCallum, Ryan Todd and Joe Allon. David Kings was Highwayman’s scorer.

On Sunday in the Premier Division, Birtley RAOB enjoyed a fine 6-0 win against Fiddlers Three.

Adam Berry hit a hat-trick, Philip Temple bagged a brace and a Logan Powell strike completed the scoring for Birtley.

Stormont Main recorded backto-back 4-1 results with their victory over Crawcrook Albion.

Ryan Todd, Ryan Shortt, Joe Allon and Brandon Lawther all scored in the win.

In Division One, Whickham Bay Horse kept up their promotion push with a 7-2 verdict at Clara Vale.

Brian Hutchinson hit a treble with the others efforts from Matty Neve, Tony McMeiken, Kane Swaddle and Reece Boyd.

A Jack Parkinson double was in vain for Vale.

The Eagle went nap with their 5-0 win at Rutherford.

Kane Wheatley scored three with Chris McGee and David Swailes also on target.
