Your guide to all the drama in the Square, on the cobbles and in the Dales
EMMERDALE ITV, 7pm
IT’S a devastating time for Chas, pictured, as she struggles with what she learned at the ultrasound scan last week. Her baby has a rare condition which makes it unlikely she’ll survive, but Chas hasn’t told anyone – especially not the proud father to be Paddy, who can’t stop talking about the new arrival.
Desperate to believe it’s a misdiagnosis, when heart-broken Chas finds herself alone in the newly decorated nursery she breaks down in tears.
EASTENDERS BBC1, 8pm
MEL’S under the cosh, as Sharon and Phil call a staff meeting and tell her it was her responsibility to make sure E20 was locked, and so it’s her responsibility to pay back the missing fifteen grand – by the end of the week.
Needing cash and quick, she heads over to Ian’s, to talk food suppliers and con the smitten chef into cooking her a romantic meal, whilst secretly trying to find the necklace Ben stole and gave to Kathy.
CORONATION STREET ITV, 7.30pm and 8.30pm
AFTER last week’s epic drama, it’s a lighter start to the week in Weatherfield.
Rosie Webster turns narcotics detective, by trying to stitch up her drugdealing ex, and Roy Cropper plays psychic sleuth, after learning that desperate Gail is applying for a payday loan to pay Rosemary the medium £3,000 to lift the ‘curse’ she believes her dead ex-husband Richard Hillman has placed on the family.
Oh, and Kirk’s new dog-walking client Sharon has a major crush on him.
