Chide before a fall...

-

SECRETS rarely stay buried in Emmerdale, so in theory Sam is doing the right thing by telling Samson that he helped Alice to die before the youngster finds out from someone else.

Unfortunately, his son takes the news very badly – and when Lydia tries to intervene, the youngster accidentally pushes her down the stairs.

It seems the fall hasn’t done too much damage, but the doctor does spot a suspicious mole on her leg...

When Lydia joins Sam and Samson at Alice’s grave, Sam cottons onto the fact that something’s not quite right.

Will Lydia reveal her news, or keep the truth to herself?

Elsewhere, viewers get an insight into Graham’s past this week as he’s haunted by visions of his dead wife, Cheryl, and their unborn baby.

As the anniversary of their tragic deaths comes around, he becomes so distressed that he gets roaring drunk.

Spiralling out of control, Graham scraps with Frank before doing something even more self-destructive – picking a fight with Cain. When Graham then shoves pregnant Chas over, has he gone too far?

Joe attempts to drag him back from the brink, but is shocked at the state of his right-hand man.

While Graham falls apart, Ross seems surprisingly cheerful. In fact, he’s in such a good mood that Pete realises he must be up to something, and his fears are confirmed when he finds Lawrence’s cars.

Aaron plans to pop the question to Robert, but maybe they should consider a pre-nup as Bob hands the cafe over to Brenda.
