WHICH CELEBRITIES EARNED STYLE POINTS THIS WEEK?
WE’RE used to seeing her in corsets in costume dramas like Howards End or vintage clothes as Peggy Carter in Captain America, but Hayley Atwell looked every inch the modern day Hollywood star at a premiere this week.
The 36-year-old London-born actress was on the red carpet for the world premiere of Disney’s Christopher Robin in LA, in which she stars alongside Ewan McGregor in a film about what happened to the young boy when he grew up and left behind Hundred Acre Wood.
The Agent Carter star looked just Marvel-lous in a colourful strapless gown which showed off her curves to great effect. Her blonde locks were swept back and she accessorised with a scarlet lip and dramatic emerald drop earrings.
Also out and about this week was Girls star Zosia Mamet. We loved her quirky style as Shoshanna in the Lena Dunham-penned series, and the actress and musician looked super cool as she attended the New York premiere of BlacKkKlansman, the film by director Spike Lee about a black Seventies-era policeman who infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan.
The 30-year-old, whose Girls co-star Adam Driver has a leading role in the movie, sparkled in a shimmering silver mini dress with a scoop neck and spaghetti straps.
Driver might play baddie Kylo Ren in the Star Wars films, but Zosia showed she is a Force to be reckoned with when it comes to rocking the red carpet.
