New model set for its big unveiling
THE All-New Ceed model is being unveiled at two specially co-ordinated test drive events, scheduled to take place at Jennings Kia, part of Jennings Motor Group.
To mark the launch of the third generation Ceed, customers are being exclusively invited to the company’s Kia dealerships based on Parsons Road in Washington on Monday (August 6), in addition to the Stadium Way branch in Sunderland on Tuesday (August 7), between 4pm and 7pm, to take part in a Kia Masterclass Plus event.
In preparation for the launch and test drive event, staff at Jennings Kia have successfully completed a comprehensive training programme from a professional driver trainer at Kia Motors.
Throughout both events, staff will be on hand to give customers advice and information about the new model, in addition to arranging test drives either on the evening of the event, or at convenient time to suit individual customers following the event.
The All-New Kia Ceed is lower, wider and with a more dynamic and sportier appearance than its predecessors. The Ceed conveys a more self-confident look with straight lines, a wider ‘tiger-nose’ grille and precise, linear shapes frame its ‘face.’
The new model features LED daytime running lights as standard, echoing the appearance of earlier cee’d GT and ‘GT-Line’ models.
Powered by a wide choice of powertrains, every engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission, while the 1.4-litre T-GDI and 1.6-litre CRDi engines also come with Kia’s seven-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT).
Jennings Kia also operates a dealership in Stockton, where a test drive event is scheduled to take place on Thursday (August 9).
