Fourth Ford Focus proving a hit

THE fourth-generation All-New Ford Focus, which has recently been awarded the maximum five-star safety rating by independen­t crash test authority Euro NCAP, is proving popular with customers at Jennings Ford, part of Jennings Motor Group.

The latest version of the small family hatchback, which is on display at Jennings Ford, has been boosting sales with customers keen to place orders, prior to the official launch at the group’s Eslington Park-based dealership in Gateshead.

Customers can choose between two bodystyles, including a five-door hatchback and estate, there’s also four trim variations, and an array of new technology. Barry Fearon, sales manager at Jennings Ford in Gateshead said: “It’s been 20 years since the very first Ford Focus rolled off the production line.

“We’re delighted to be able to offer the fourth-generation model, which is more comfortabl­e and spacious than ever before, and comes with an abundance of invaluable technologi­cally advanced features.”

Prices start at £17,930 for the entry level Style trim, and there’s also Zetec, ST-Line and Titanium models available.

The latest model also comes with a range of powerful and highly fueleffici­ent engines, all complement­ed by 8-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmissi­ons. Customers can look forward to a hybrid model, which is expected to follow next year.
