Swalwell’s Main aim is to bounce back to form

-

SWALWELL and Percy Main meet in a crunch Division One match at Derwenthaugh Park tomorrow.

Leaders Swalwell aim to bounce back from their defeat at Consett last weekend which saw their lead cut to only 22 points.

Main’s fourth success last weekend moved them out of the bottom two in their bid to avoid relegation.

However, victory for Lintz against bottom side Stocksfield would take them back above Main, should they lose at Swalwell.

Stocksfield could be relegated tomorrow unless they record their first win of the season.

Second-placed Consett face a tricky clash at Lanchester.

Shotley Bridge will look to end their bad run of results when they host Alnmouth and Lesbury.

Shotley have lost three and drawn one of their last four games after a 13-week unbeaten start.

Success for the visitors would be a huge boost in their bid to ease their relegation fears.

DIVISION Two leaders Leadgate visit Seaton Burn tomorrow, the Burn looking to make an immediate return to the top flight.

Annfield Plain, six points behind Leadgate, are at fellow promotion rivals Morpeth.

Success for Morpeth would make it an exciting four-horse race going into the final four weeks of the campaign.

Bedlington, in third nine points off top spot, could move into a promotion place if they can overcome visitors Blyth.

DIVISION Three pacesetters Whickham can take a huge step towards promotion - and the title - with a victory at Corbridge tomorrow.
