ROCKLIFF RFC Vikings opened their Northumberland RU River Aln League campaign with an 111-0 victory at West End.
Seventeen tries were scored by Andrew Telford, Simon Cormack, Drew Hayton, Jonny Birkett, Perry Briggs, Dan Simpson (2), Sean Woods (2), Tom Reid (2), Drew Shardlow (2) and Gary Blake (4).
Thirteen were converted by Simon Cormack, Alex Meadows, Simpson (2), Reid (2) and Jack Bland (6).

■■HOUGHTON Kepier Academy’s Grace Ede took part in her first England Elite Residential Training Camp in Warwick.
Ede (pictured) who has been part of Sunderland Girls’ Academy since she was six, spent three days training with England coaches and 20 other footballers.
■■MATT BELL celebrated his first win of the season at Silverstone in the four-hour European Le Mans Series (ELMS) race.
The result has lifted the Newcastle-based driver (pictured above) to third place in the LMP3 Championship standings.
Bell said: “It was a relief to get the win.
“2018 has been a challenge so far pace-wise.
“We felt optimistic at the start of the year as we are a strong line-up so it feels good to finally be able to show we can do it.”
