LEADERS Sunderland West End maintained their 100% record with a 5-1 win at home against Norton and Stockton Ancients Reserves.

Leanna Mason netted in the first period, second half-goals coming from Kay Mills, Alex Ross, Costandina Panayi and Allison Ferris.

Rebecca Davison claimed a consolatio­n for the reserves.

Chester-le-Street Town St Cuthberts earned their first point of the season, holding unbeaten Washington to a 2-2 draw.

Bethany White gave Washington the lead but a brace by Amy Lawson put the visitors 2-1 up at the break.

Erin Liddle equalised after 70 minutes for the Wearsiders, who stay second.

Redcar Town moved up to third with a 4-0 home victory over Prudhoe Town.

Jessica Round hit a hat-trick with Joanna Cunliffe also on target.

Prudhoe’s third defeat leaves them bottom of the table.

Consett are up to fourth after triumphing 3-2 at Boro Rangers.

Carolanne Hughes gave Consett the lead after eight minutes but Larissa Burkinshaw equalised before Abbie Phillips gave the hosts a 2-1 interval advantage.

Beth Wilson brought Consett level after 79 minutes, lobbing the goalkeeper, before substitute Amy Wharton nabbed the winner five minutes from time.

Only goal difference keeps Cramlingto­n United off the bottom.

United suffered their third defeat of the campaign - 2-0 at Alnwick Town with Jenny Patterson and Stephanie Stafford on target. ■■IN the five-team PPR Women’s League, Blyth Town prevailed 5-0 at home against Bedlington. Blakelaw forfeited their home match with Wallsend BCL Reserves.
