Solano: Perfect time for Toon to face Red Devils

NOBBY Solano feels this is the perfect time to face Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The former Toon star feels the Red Devils are in a state of disarray and Saturday night offers an opportunity to at least snare a point from one of the toughest fixtures of the season.
Solano said: “It is a good time to play them, probably the perfect time actually.
“It will never be easy so to face them amid all of the unrest and bad results is the best time you could ask for.
“There is a lot of pressure on Man United’s players and Jose Mourinho especially - but he will be used to that.
“You never know with Man United because they do have the quality and can be dangerous.
“However, they seem uncertain at the moment and cannot get any confidence going.”
The build-up to the game at Old Trafford has featured ex-Man United star Paul Scholes taking a swipe at Mourinho after their Champions League bore draw with Valencia in midweek.
Solano added: “I actually think Scholes is being disrespectful there.
“I am sure Scholes has a lot of feelings towards the club because of his past association there.
“However, Mourinho has the respect of people in football and he has won things, both at Old Trafford and around the world.
“He will go on to win things as well given time so I don’t understand why he would be embarrassing to the club as Paul said.
“Maybe it is just the fact Scholes does not like him because of his Chelsea links and the fact the Blues used to beat Man United in his playing days.
“Scholes is one of Fergie’s boys of course, so he will have a lot of loyalty towards Fergie.”
