MY FAVOURITE SKETCH GOLD, 10pm

SELF-CONFESSED comedy nerd Sally Phillips joins some of the nation’s top comedians in this nostalgic and funny romp through the best ever sketches.

In each episode she’s joined by a guest as they guide us through their perfect playlist of sketches that have inspired and shaped their career.

Paul Whitehouse is first in the hotseat, presenting us with a mixture of gems chosen from TV of the past 50 years.

His selection is a mix of Python, Alan Partridge, Victoria Wood and his old pal Harry Enfield. Paul also reveals the inspiration behind the famous catchphrase “suits you sir”, his chance meeting with Fry and Laurie, and why one of his selections is the perfect sketch.

BORDER FORCE: AMERICA’S GATEKEEPERS DAVE, 8pm

AMERICA’S border with Mexico is probably the most talked about border in the world, thanks to President Donald Trump.

Over half of America’s southern border is created by the Rio Grande, the river separating Texas from Mexico, and has become one of the most notorious dividing lines. Protecting it is a force of more than 5,000 officers, who must monitor the gateway for illegal contraband, weapons and dangerous narcotics. Cameras follow the army that is Customs and Border Protection as it polices the 28 bridges and checks that the goods and commuters are legitimate.

More gripping than any police crime thriller.
