Grease is the word at the Whitley Playhouse
JUST as a Grease legend is confirmed for Dancing on Ice, a singalong version of the classic film has been announced to arrive in Whitley Bay.
Didi Conn, aka Frenchies, was the final celebrity confirmed for the lineup of Dancing on Ice’s new series and we will see her get her skates on on ITV early in the new year.
Ater that you can channel your inner Frenchie, Danny, Sandy, Kenickie or Rizzo when ‘Sing-a-long-a Grease’ arrives at Playhouse Whitley Bay on Saturday, March 2.
The singlong screening of the hit movie starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John is being brought to North Tyneside by the producers of Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music.

The evening begins with your host leading a vocal warm-up before they show you how to use your free interactive prop bag. You will even have a chance to learn how to hand jive.
Then just sit back and watch Danny and Sandy and the gang, while singing and dancing along to the lyrics as shown on screen.
