Get ready for the fright of your life...

- SIMON DUKE

PSYCHO Path has been the talk of the Toon since being announced and now it’s nearly time for the terrifying event to begin.

Taking place across 700 acres of land at Lintz Hall Farm in Burnopfield, the event looks set to be one of the hottest and scariest tickets in the North East this Halloween, and on Friday, October 12, the scares will start as Psycho Path officially kicks off.

Back in August, Christiano Crawford, Director of Psycho Path told The Chronicle: “I am thrilled to be heading this up and cannot wait for the opening night, ready to strike the fear into the hearts of each and every guest... and I mean that in the nicest possible way of course!”

So what’s in store?

HOW LONG DOES PSYCHO PATH LAST?

Each session of Psycho Path is scheduled to last around 45 minutes.

DO YOU NEED TO GET THERE EARLY?

Ticket holders are asked to arrive at 30-45 minutes before booked time slots and ensure they have appropriate clothing and footwear.

Admittance will not be permitted for late entries.

Parking is available on site and the postcode for Lintz Hall is NE16 6AS.

You will make your way through open woodland and a large array of outdoor terrain so be prepared for uneven, wet, slippery and muddy surfaces.

DO YOU DO THE COURSE WITH THE PEOPLE YOU ARRIVE WITH?

You will be with the group of people that have selected the same time slot as you. If you are in a group of people, make sure you all book the same time slot so everyone is together.

CAN CHILDREN GO?

No under-13s are allowed. Children between the ages of 13-16 have to be accompanied by an adult.

ARE THE ACTORS ALLOWED TO TOUCH YOU?

The actors are allowed to touch you in order to increase the fear factor. However they will not harm you.

IS IT A RUNNING COURSE?

No running is required, but we have a feeling it might be necessary from the teasers we’ve seen so far!

WHAT ABOUT MEDICAL CONDITIONS?

If you, or anybody in your party, have a history of medical conditions that include heart disorders, claustrophobia, have a photosensitive form of epilepsy, back disorders, diabetes, arthritis, suffer from asthma or are pregnant, you are asked to contact Psycho Path prior to arrival.

WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINK AVAILABLE?

Being scared is hungry and thirsty work! And you have a range of options:

Draught and Craft Bar, featuring award-winning breweries from the North – including Newcastle’s own Wylam Brewery.

Gin Barn, serving more than 40 types of gin – perfect for calming the nerves.

Quaff Box will be serving cocktails from a hellishly-themed horse box and you can sweeten and soothe the spirit with R Place’s famous unicorn hot chocolate, coffee, tea and desserts.

Newcastle’s The Bake One, serving Lebanese food, Bavarian swing grill, serving frankfurters, and Durham’s own Tango Burgers will cater for savoury tastes.

AND FINALLY .... WHAT IF YOU GET TOO SCARED?

If you get too scared, make your way to a Safe Zone - there are a number on the course and you will be collected from there and assisted to the main entrance.

■ If you’re not put off by any of that, there are tickets still available online from the Psycho Path website priced £20.
