Work with the PM not against her

-

IT’S time that the silent majority stood up and said something.

I’ve never been a Conservative, and I voted to remain in Europe.

However I believe in democracy so I accepted the NO vote.

I believe that the democratic way forward is to get behind our beleaguered Prime Minister and support her to achieve the best possible deal for all concerned.

I’m very disappointed that the other political parties didn’t put aside their differences for once and try to work together with Mrs May in her endeavours.

But instead of giving

constructive criticism and ideas, they have been destructive at every point.

As for those sharks in her own party who try to back-stab her at every opportunity and work for themselves rather than the interests of the country, I find them deeply saddening.

The vote was taken and Brexit is happening, so rather than spending a lot of time and

hot air bickering, let her get on with the job.

Please give the Prime Minister a chance, and work with her rather than against her, so that she can complete these horrendously difficult and massively important negotiations knowing that her party and her country are backing her up.

ROSEMARY THOMPSON,

Widdrington
