DRESSED TO IMPRESS

WHICH CELEBRITIES EARNED STYLE POINTS THIS WEEK?

-

THE night is all about celebrating the achievements of the UK’s unsung heroes and the great and the good of the showbiz world donned their glitziest gowns for this week’s Pride of Britain awards.

Holly Willoughby, who dubbed the event ‘one of my favourite nights of the year’ in an Instagram post, looked like a Disney princess in a beautiful white and silver ballgown by British designer Jenny Packham.

The This Morning presenter called it her ‘dress of dreams’ and who are we to argue?

Jenny Packham was also the choice for Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo. The I’m A Celeb winner channelled old Hollywood glamour in a Thirties-style gown which is giving us serious party season inspiration.

Rather than a new dress, Amanda Holden recycled a stunning Zac Posen navy mermaid gown, which she first wore in 2012 at a Battersea Cats and Dogs Home charity gala.

Panic not, the Britain’s Got Talent judge is not running out of cash. She was making a statement for the #stylerepeats movement started by American businesswoman Arianna Huffington, which encourages women to wear dresses more than once.

In a blog post online,

Amanda said that the Posen number ‘sung’ to her from her wardrobe.

Frankly, if that dress was in our wardrobe we’d be able to hear little else.
