WHAT a relief that Bonfire Night is over. We hope that your animals have all been safe and well during a time that can be very scary indeed.

Please don’t forget that it is still firework season and there are likely more displays going on, especially as we head closer to the New Year. Make sure you are following the right advice to keep your animals safe and comfortable.

To help your more nervous animals, why not try PetRemedy, which is a natural, calming product available in different forms whether that be a diffuser, spray etc? PetRemedy can be bought from our Benton reception but, if you’d like any further information in the meantime, please call 0191 215 0435.

We have some fantastic pieces, including our new trolley keys, which are a must to get you through your weekly shop without the fuss of looking for a pound coin for your trolley.

Our adopt-a-pet packages have had a makeover too, and now include a hoodie or T-shirt depending on your choice – an amazing Christmas present! For further information, please call 0191 215 0435 or email events@dogandcatshelter.com

Our very own Christmas market at our Benton North Farm Shelter is only two weeks away. It takes place on Thursday, November 29 from 4pm until 9pm. We have a fantastic selection of traders coming along so there really is something for everyone – and
