No doubting a big result for Thomas

ONLY one game was played in the Premier Division, Thomas Wilson moving into second spot with a 6-3 win against Highwayman.

Ricky Fenwick scored twice alongside goals from Mark Burns, Charlie Watson, Michael Cook and Ben Garrity.

On target for Highwayman were Seven Cain with two efforts and one from Eddie Liddle.

The only match in Division One saw Gateshead Three Tuns record a 12-0 victory against Inter XI.

Chris Kelly was top marksman with four goals and there were doubles from Kane Wheatley, Keith Scott and Andrew Straughan.

A strike from Gary Lindsay and an own goal wrapped up the scoring.

In the North West Durham Cup, Whickham Coachman beat local rivals Whickham Bay Horse 6-1. Andrew Davidson netted twice for The Coachies with Daniel Spoor, Ryan Davenport, Simon Hay and Alex White also registerin­g.

Crawcrook Albion overcame Sheriff Hill Three Tuns 3-1 thanks to a strike from Niall Codling and a brace from Alastair Wilson.

Belle Vue opened the scoring but Conor McMillan equalised for Allerdene with a great effort from long distance.

Belle Vue regained the lead before half-time before scoring twice more to seal the win.

Blue Star went out suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat at Newton Aycliffe Navy Club.
