Grab your baggy trousers – Madness are back AGAIN!

-

SKA favourites Madness will make a return to Newcastle in 2019 with a summer date at Newcastle Racecourse.

The band, currently on their Arena tour The Sound of Madness, have – without hardly drawing breath – already signed up to a series of outdoor racecourse gigs for next year. They include one for their Geordie fans, who’ll see them back on North East turf next August.

And the Suggs-led hit-makers are promising to play all their hits and fan favourites, so expect the likes of Baggy Trousers, Our House, One Step Beyond, My Girl and It Must Be Love.

But there’ll be new tracks in store too from the band who are classed as one of the top 20 selling UK groups of

all time, with seven top 10 albums under their belt.

They’ve reached the UK Top 20 charts a whopping 22 times, have had more than 6m album sales and they recently achieved gold status with their Can’t Touch Us Now album, sell-out shows and the recent release of their Full House - The Best Of Madness compilation.

The gig will be at Newcastle Racecourse at Gosforth Park on Saturday, June 29 when gates will open from 10.30am.

They will play there live after the day’s racing and fans are encouraged to combine both the horse action and concert for a top day out.

Tickets are available at an early bird offer price of £35.
