As long as his team-mates keep providing him with the service

-

hold the ball up and take the pressure off the defence when the home team is coming at you.

That is what he does. I don’t see that in Joselu, he does not have the strength, but Rondon is the perfect for it - as long as he gets the support.

My only reservation about Rondon is he is very unselfish. He is a team player who tracks back and does the work but I don’t want him in the 90th minute being absolutely shattered because he has been chasing back defenders and going back.

I know he has to at times but if that chance falls to you at the 90th minute you need to be ready - and if you get it you have to have the strength to finish it.

There has to be a balance between his defending and attacking play but I don’t want him chasing back 40 or 50 yards because you have to have the strength to finish inside the box.

If I was Benitez I would say come back for free-kicks and corners.

Rondon is big lad, an excellent header of the ball, and we can use that - but that is about it.

Don’t be chasing back 30 or 40 yards - take a breather and the other lads chase back.

When that chance falls you have to be alert, it is all about concentration and remaining focused for when that chance falls to you.

You have to make sure you are razor-sharp, whether it is the first or last minute of the game.

As a striker you just have to concentrate and they are the best strikers - and you can see them in a flash.

You don’t see them for huge portions of the game and then they have that one chance - one goal, three points and it is see you later, thank you very much.
