Hairy Bikers rev up to meet their public

-

COOKING and conversation will be on the menu – and that’s just for starters – when the Hairy Bikers roar into Newcastle this spring.

The TV chefs will be stopping off in the city as part of a huge nationwide tour they have announced for 2019.

An Evening With The Hairy Bikers at the City Hall sees the pair – real names Si King and Dave Myers – promise “an epic night” which will feature plenty lively chat as they cook up some top dishes.

Audiences are told they have been exploring the length and breadth of the country to discover new recipes and create their own takes on classic meals so Newcastle audiences might even find some local delicacies among them.

Si – who recently joined in chat of a meal deal idea concerning Newcastle United boss Mike Ashley – and Dave have been cooking together now for more than 20 years and their TV shows have featured them picking up tips around the world.

Fans can catch up with them on March 31 and there’s also an option to book a VIP package for the show which includes a top-price seat, a special question-and-answer session with the pair and a chance to have a photograph taken with them.

Ticket prices to the evening – which is aimed at those aged 14-plus – start at £23.35.

Booking can be made on the joint Theatre Royal and City Hall website. The pair’s tour will also include a date at Sunderland Empire on April 4.
