POEM OF THE DAY

The Winter Snow

-

Here comes the Winter Snow Biting our fingers and toes. It’s a picture postcard With sliding buses and cars. Our transport system will be Disrupted.

The Winter Snow

See the sledges and children’s glee. It’s a free event on the hills and ice. But there is danger everywhere. As we stop and stare.

The sunshine is coming out. Maybe the snow will melt Maybe the temperatures will drop And cause more mayhem

The Winter Snow is here

I can see it and take photographs I think hot soup today

negotiations and stop the intransigence and petty gamesmanship.

The rest of the world is a far Will do the trick

And a warm coat and scarf

The Winter Snow

How beautiful you are Where are you going?

Where do you come from?

It can be a thrill

And a bag of mixed feelings
