Founder of Hirestreet – the UK’s first high street focused, fashion rental service. In just five months Isabella has built it from scratch to having over 60,000 website visitors and hundreds of customers.
This award seeks out the person who has shown exceptional talent in their field, demonstrating their excellent career progression, leadership and management. They all have excellent potential to succeed in the longer term with a well-defined and innovative vision for the future.

Winner: Alison Murdoch, founder and head of the Newcastle Fertility Centre at Life.
Alison is a globally renowned expert in the science, ethics and regulation of reproductive medicine, IVF techniques and mitochondrial transfer technology.
She has made a profound difference to the lives of many thousands of families in the North East and beyond and has ensured that the North East is recognised as world-leading in this area of life-changing medicine.
